We are seeking an experienced PE teacher to implement a dynamic PE curriculum. Our PE teacher will utilize the Florida grade-level standards for Physical Education, as well as other resources as a guide to develop sound and effective grade-level PE lesson plans and units.

Physical education is a vital entry point to help students gain confidence and build character. Physical Education is education by means of bodily-kinesthetic, movement-based approaches. PE aims to develop students' physical competence and knowledge of movement and safety, and their ability to use these to perform in a wide range of activities associated with the development of an active and healthy lifestyle.

For the 2025-2026 school year, we are seeking a highly qualified, professional PE teacher who is enthusiastic about being an integral part of our K-6 private school community.

The ideal candidate will have these qualities:

  • Bachelor degree
  • One - three years of teaching experience
  • Proactive, respectful, and consistent classroom management
  • Team-orientated and has excellent collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and takes initiative
  • Competent in using and integrating technology
  • Reflective and receptive to feedback for professional growth

  • Full time position 8-3:30

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging physical education curricula that promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Foster communication with students and parents to support student development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and participate in professional development opportunities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $41,000 per year
