Part-Time English Instructor - Eye Level Learning Centers (Frisco & Plano, TX).

Eye Level Learning Centers - Plano Central, Frisco East, and Frisco Central - are dynamic after-school enrichment centers dedicated to nurturing students in their academic journey. We are currently seeking Part-Time English Instructors to join our team and support students from Pre-K through 10th grade.

This is a year-round, part-time position offering flexible hours, consistent scheduling, and a supportive teaching environment. All instructional materials are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or small group instruction in English (Reading & Writing).
• Support students according to Eye Level’s curriculum and teaching methodology.
• Motivate and encourage students using positive reinforcement techniques (e.g., incentives, certificates).
• Communicate student progress with the Center Director regularly.
• Assist with grading booklets initially to gain familiarity with the program.
• Help maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment.

• Guaranteed hours on scheduled workdays - even if students are absent.
• Paid compensation on select days when the center is closed for long weekends (if those fall on regular workdays).

• Flexible scheduling with a minimum of 15–20 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• College students pursuing a degree in education or related field (must have completed at least 20 units).
• Retired ISD teachers and Montessori-trained or certified instructors are encouraged to apply.
• Strong proficiency in Reading and Writing (candidates will be tested in Reading, Writing, and Math).
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
• Reliable, responsible, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Adaptable to scheduling and classroom setting changes as needed.
