Positions Available: Full-Time and Part-Time Summer School Teachers with the possibility of a Fall 2025 Teaching Contract!

Grades: Transitional Kindergarten through 4th Grade

Our Summer Camp Program is filled with enriching experiences—from arts & crafts and creative play to sports, academic refreshers, bike days, and outdoor picnics. We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Elementary Summer School Teachers to help make this summer truly magical. Are you a passionate educator, full of energy and excitement, who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic environment? Whether you're inspiring our littlest learners (Kindergarten & 1st grade) or guiding the adventurous minds of 2nd–4th graders, you’re all in when it comes to fun, learning, and connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with fellow educators to design exciting, hands-on lesson plans
  • Leading students through our engaging and balanced core curriculum
  • Monitoring progress and offering personalized support to help each child shine
  • Building strong partnerships with parents and school leaders
  • Leading meaningful parent-teacher conferences
  • Representing Action Day Schools at fun, school events

Compensation: $25- $30/hr depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will come to us with:

  • 3-5 years of teaching experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Current Teaching Credential (preferred)
  • Masters in Education or Related Field (preferred)
  • ECE units are a plus!
  • A love and passion for working with students
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A reliable, can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow!
